My forge Gun i'll Blow it up. Got waves of reds? I'll use my Heavy machine gun to shred them up. B1G Boss signing off. What's your heavy suit look like for HMG? Do you stack speed with boundless and go dps speed demon in city, or stack plates with six kin and be the objective holder king.

The only other type of heavy is dual tanking - for winning the 1v1's vs other heavies.

AHMG? I'd fit it like a HMG suit though... AHMG is a PoS, I'm sure someone out there can find use for it - but I can't. Just can't justify the loss of DPS for such little range.

You need to survive the encounter for reps to matter, otherwise it's only really saving you 60 - 100 health, max, which 1 plate could of given you, when you could of stacked up to 3 of them, and just had your team rep you.

Meh. I guess it depends on your play style. On my ADV suit I do run reactive plates for the extra bit of armor but I keep some reps and it still works decent. As I've said before any good heavy that utilizes cover well can stay alive. But that's a pub suit - in PC you reaping yourself after an encounter isn't as important as being capable of pushing people back or flanking them quick enough.

I know PC is most talked about here but I always forget. I definitely have a different setup for PC. But with the gallente heavy coming reps may once more be viable in PC. unless the reps is something insane like 50, I don't think it'll ever work out that way, it may be a good harassment suit for an already winning game, but not anything you'd use when you buckle down to show the other side they better keep back.
